Charlotte teaches from her home studio in Round Rock. Attention to technique and confidence in ear training allows students the foundation for playing anything they desire. Her Music Mind Games training offers students a creative and interactive curriculum to discover the magic of music theory and become fluent note-readers. (Theory often becomes a favorite subject for students!)

Children ages 3-6 can enroll in the 88 Key Kickstart group class as a stepping stone to formal lessons. Students enrolled in individual lessons are invited to participate in recitals, play-ins, group lessons, and adjudicated events through the National Federation of Music Clubs, the National Piano Guild of Teachers and the Texas Music Teachers Association.

Charlotte received a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Composition from Kansas State University. She began teaching at a young age and thrives as a continuous learner in the art of teaching.

Charlotte is an active composer, accompanist, and organist. She is also an active member of various music organizations such as the The National Piano Guild of Teachers, The National Federation of Music Clubs, Piano Basics, The Greater Austin Suzuki Association, and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.

Favorite quote, “Successful learning occurs in many small steps rather than one big step,” Michiko Yurko. Sight-reading is one of Charlotte’s favorite musical activities! She enjoys spending free time with her husband and their dog, Ender.
