Cecelia Swanson

Cecelia is a Louisville, Kentucky transplant. Previously she spent 4 years in Cleveland, Ohio working on her masters degree and then a professional studies degree all under the remarkable tutelage of Sharon Robinson from the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio. While studying for her MM in cello performance she earned her Suzuki Pedagogy certification and discovered her passion for teaching the cello.

While living in Cleveland, Cecelia taught over 25 students from ages 5 to 65 at the Aurora School of Music and Oberlin Community Music School. Her methodology is based in the Suzuki Method which revolves around teaching and guiding the whole person. Her goal as your instructor is to help you figure out how you and/or your student learn(s) and how to enjoy the process as a unified team.
