Carrie Campbell VanSlyke

Carrie VanSlyke is a Halifax-based violist who has performed throughout North America, Europe and Australia. Since moving to Canada in 2010, she has developed a passion for chamber music and regularly performs with Symphony Nova Scotia and Bela String Quartet. She has been heard alongside pop artists including Weezer and Rod Stewart. Carrie holds degrees in viola performance from McGill University and the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, she has received Suzuki training from Edmund Sprunger, Martha Shackford, and Linda Steig. Carrie currently enjoys teaching violin and viola to students ages 3 and up in her private home studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
