Mrs. Brandy Keehn-Hutchinson

Brandy Hutchinson earned her Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University. During her tenure there, Brandy studied with world-renowned jazz drummer, Alan Jones, and Oregon Symphony percussionist, Joel Bluestone. She also studied piano pedagogy with Mary Kogen, from whom the joy of teaching was planted. Brandy started studying Suzuki piano at the age of 7 and is ecstatic to now share her love of music as a Suzuki Teacher.

Brandy has 20 years experience in music education here in Portland, OR. Her educational background includes work at Ethos, where she developed a curriculum for drum-set and taught both private and group piano classes. Brandy has also been a private instructor and clinician at Forte Music School, Northwest Academy. and M.U.S.E. Brandy currently teaches piano and percussion at her home studio and can be found performing with various community orchestras and the second line band, BrassRoots Movement.
