Born in Brazil on April 22, 1991.

Barbara began her violin studies at the School of Music Anthenor Navarro where she graduated at technical level at age 16. She performed in the Paraiba Youth Symphony Orchestra, Paraiba Symphony Orchestra, Joao Pessoa City Chamber Orchestra, Recife Youth Symphony Orchestra.

She joined the violin graduation course at age 17 in UFPB in 2009 under the guidance of Professor Hermes Cuzzuol Alvarenga. In 2013, she was invited by maestro Marcos Arakaki to the Music on the Road Project, a project that chose the best musicians from different cities in Brazil to compose an Orchestra to travel the country playing erudite music in remote places of the country. Barbara exchanged abroad in Canada, Mexico and France as a language student and a translator and volunteered in an agricultural community in Rio Grande do Sul for 2 years, where she co-created the “Health, well-being and empowerment program for women farmers” in partnership with Sicredi (Project presented as a reference at the 62nd Meeting of the UN Commission on the Situation of Women, in 2018).

Barbara graduated as a Hatha Yoga instructor, theater and musical theater actress which she uses as part of the violin preparation and performance training for the students.

In 2020 she started her Suzuki trainings with the Suzuki Philosophy training having as instructor teacher Shinobu Saito at the Suzuki Music School in São Paulo and in 2020 and 2021 she took the Violin Training Books 1 and 2 with Edward Kreitman at the Western Spring School of Talent Education, Chicago.
Still in 2021 she took the trainings for Books 3 and 4 with Rolando Freitag from Orlando Suzuki Music School.

During the pandemic she has grown as an On-line teacher having students in Brazil, Us and Hong Kong and you can have classes with her in Portuguese, English and French.

Today she is a member of the Violin Faculty of Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute in Hong Kong.
