Born in Brazil on April 22, 1991.

Barbara began her violin studies at the School of Music Anthenor Navarro where she graduated at technical level at age 16.

In 2009 she started her University at age 17 in UFPB, where she got her Bachelor degree in Violin Performance.

In 2013, she was invited by the conductor Marcos Arakaki to the Music on the Road Project, a project that chose musicians from different cities in Brazil to tour through the Amazon rainforest states introducing classical music.

In 2020 she started her trainings in the Japanese Suzuki Method of Talent Education under the guidance of Shinobu Saito (Japan-Brazil)

Barbara specialised in violin teaching through Teacher Trainings with Edward Kreitman from the Western Spring School of Talent Education, Chicago (US), and Rolando Freitag from Orlando Suzuki Music School, Orlando (US).

In the year of 2023 she Post-Graduated in Christian Classical Education with the Cidade Viva International College.

Barbara exchanged abroad in Canada, Mexico and France as a language student and a translator and volunteered in an agricultural community in Rio Grande do Sul for 2 years, where she co-created the “Health, well-being and empowerment program for women farmers” in partnership with Sicredi (Project presented as a reference at the 62nd Meeting of the UN Commission on the Situation of Women, in 2018).

During the pandemic she was hired as a Violin Instructor for the Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute and has grown as an on-line teacher having students in Brazil and US. You can have classes with her in-person or on-line in Portuguese or English.

Today she is a member of the Violin Faculty of Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute in Hong Kong.
