I began teaching cello in 2008, upon “retiring” from nine years of homeschooling my own children. I first studied violin (Suzuki in the schools and privately) with Rodger Alexander, then studied cello privately with Barbara Barnes, Lois Banks, and Barton Frank.
I have over 20 years of experience performing in string orchestras, chamber ensembles, and symphony orchestras. While I enjoy making music, I find sharing my love of music and the cello through teaching even more rewarding! Find out more about my cello studio or contact me at cello.duetpartner.com. “When love is deep, much can be accomplished.” S. Suzuki
