Aubrey Faith-Slaker holds degrees in piano performance and piano pedagogy from the University of Illinois and Southern Methodist University, where she also studied organ and Music Therapy. Trained as a Suzuki pianist, she returned to teaching the Suzuki method in 2007 and currently teaches Suzuki Piano and group classes to multi instruments for children ages 3 and up in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Aubrey also works mentoring new teachers in piano pedagogy practices, pursuing further education and starting their own businesses.  She teaches Masterclasses in Chicago and Latin America, is MTNA certified, and is a Suzuki Piano Teacher Trainer. Having studied Music Therapy in grad school, Aubrey continues to research and explore music study as a means of healing.
