Aubrey Faith-Slaker holds degrees in piano performance and piano pedagogy from the University of Illinois and Southern Methodist University, where she also studied organ and Music Therapy. Ms. Faith-Slaker has maintained teaching studios in Texas, Wyoming and Colorado, where she was an active performer, especially of chamber music. She has taught music theory, music history, chamber music, music appreciation and piano since 2000. Trained as a Suzuki pianist, she returned to teaching the Suzuki method in 2007 and currently teaches out of her home in the West Loop, offering private and group class instruction to children as young as three years old.
