Angela Leidig teaches Suzuki violin in Somerville and Boston, MA, and is the violin coordinator of the Suzuki program at New England Conservatory Prep Program. In addition to her violin studio, Angela is a certified Alexander Technique Teacher through Alexander Technique International and has her own private AT practice and teaches at the Alexander Technique Center of Cambridge training course program. She graduated from Tommy Thomposn’s Alexander Technique Center of Cambridge teacher training course in 2011, and is continuing her Alexander Technique Teacher post-grad training with Bruce Fertman and Robyn Avalon through the Alexander Alliance and the Contemporary Alexander School. Angela studied Bodymapping for Musicians with Andover Educator and Bodympaping co-founder, Barbara Conable in 2006-2007 and Living in a Body with Robyn Avalon in January 2020. In June 2019, she worked with Robyn Avalon and Wendy Waggener in the Alexander Technique program at the Meadowmount String Program in Upstate NY.  She offers AT introductory classes for young Suzuki students and parents at summer camps, including the New England Conservatory Prep Suzuki Summer Day Camp in Boston, MA, the former Longy Summer Suzuki Day Camp, and at White Mountain Suzuki Institute in NH. Angela earned her M.M. in violin performance at Boston University and continued doctoral work at the University of Colorado working with the Takacs Quartet.
