**Andrew Bailey graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance in 2017. While at Southeast Missouri State University, he studied under Dr. Brandon Christensen and Dr. Sophia Han. He co-taught and led Suzuki Group classes, Suzuki Youth Orchestra, and sectionals under Southeast Missouri State University’s Music Academy. Mr. Bailey graduated with a Master of Music in Education from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN having studied with Dr. Emily Crane. He now is the Assistant Orchestra Director for Kingwood High School in Kingwood, TX. 

In Fall 2018, Andrew joined the Clarksville Youth Orchestra (C-YO), conducting the Melodic Orchestra. Mr. Bailey spread the enjoyment of music throughout the community by regularly performing in community outreach events and summer programs in and around Clarksville, TN. He was also the founder and director of Suzuki @ Madison Street (2019), currently a Suzuki violin program at Madison Street Music and Arts Academy, and the creator of Strings and Things (2019), a free music program aimed at teaching children about different instruments and styles of music. He teaches individual/group Suzuki lessons, Suzuki group classes, and Suzuki parent education courses.

Mr. Bailey started pursuing Suzuki Teacher Training in 2017. He currently holds certification up to violin unit four and Suzuki in the Schools studying with teacher trainers Winifred Crock, Amanda Schubert, Kathleen Spring, Edmund Sprunger, and Vera McCoy-Sulentic. Mr. Bailey is committed to his continuing education and research in the Suzuki Method to provide both students and parents with the tools needed for success. 

In addition to teaching, Mr. Bailey participated in the Southern Illinois Music Festival in 2017. He was the administrative assistant and co-Music Librarian while participating in Festival Suoni d’Abruzzo in Italy for two years (2015, 2017). 

He regularly performed with the Nashville Concerto Orchestra, as well as participated in masterclasses from Boris Allakhverdyan, David Halen, Brian Lewis, The Miro Quartet, and Liesl Schoenberger Doty. He is currently a member of the following professional organizations: Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC), National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA).
