Aimee Harris has been studying the violin for 14 years. She started the piano at age 6 and switched to the violin in middle school. She worked hard and progressed through the Suzuki Method quickly in order to continue with the violin through college. She studied violin performance at Brigham Young University studying under Barbara Smith and Alexander Woods for two years. She played in the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra. Aimee also served as concert mistress of the University Orchestra. She ultimately decided on getting a music minor and following her love of education. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and has used that knowledge to improve her teaching strategies in her studio. She has been teaching private violin lessons for 7 years.

She has had the opportunity to serve as concert mistress in various community orchestras wherever she has lived and always gets involved in the musical community. Recently she was asked to play for a memorial service at the Idaho State Capital building in honor of deceased senators. She also got accepted to play in the Orchestra at Temple Square before she moved to Florida.

She is currently certifying as a Suzuki teacher and has audited multiple trainings. She loves music, loves teaching, and loves the violin.
