Mary Halverson Waldo received a BA in Music from the College of St Scholastica, and a Masters in Performance of Early Music (Recorder, Flauto Traverso, Viola da gamba, Historical Dance), from the New England Conservatoryo Music. Ms. Waldo is a seasoned performer in a variety of chamber groups. A registered Recorder Teacher Trainer (SAA and ESA), she studied with Katherine White, Pandora Bryce, David Gerry, Kim Lorimier, Rebecca Paluzzi, and Edward Kreitman. She has served on the faculty at the MacPhail Center for Music, Saint Paul Conservatory, Whitewater Early Music Festival and a variety of Suzuki Institutes and Festivals thoughout the Americas and in England. Currently an SAA Board member, Mary is also on the ISA and SAA Recorder Committees. She and her husband raised their three sons in the Suzuki Method.
