Holly Smardo is a Suzuki Talent Education specialist and founder of Natural State Strings (NSS), a Suzuki tour group based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. NSS offers students instruction in violin, viola, and cello while also giving them opportunities to develop their ability through performance. Holly is also the director of orchestras at Washington Junior High School, a public school located in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Bentonville Schools are known for providing quality instruction in string education by applying the basic principles of the Suzuki Method.
Holly is a certified teacher trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has enjoyed many years of successful teaching in Arkansas, Kansas City, Washington, DC, and Illinois. Many of her students have continued their musical studies and enjoy successful careers as both performers and teachers.
