Linda Armstrong Rekas hails from St. Louis, MO where she teaches in the Parkway School District public school Suzuki program, has an active private viola studio, and is principal violist of the St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra. Mrs. Rekas did her violin teacher training with John Kendall and Carol Smith, her viola teacher training with Bill Preucil and Betsey Stuen-Walker and Suzuki in the Schools training with Winifred Crock. Along with Samantha Hiller Drake, Linda Armstrong Rekas is serving as the co-coordinatorof the 2020 Suzuki Teachers of the Americas conference May 21-25, 2020.
