songs and stories- listen and singalong

It is a very unique experience to join Susan Reed’s session at the conference. Songs and stories remind me of my childhood, especially when I was around by a group of children doing the same listening and singing. The circle atmosphere involved everybody in and offered a wonderful perspective for adults to observe children—I am amazed by the great focus, sensitivity and curiosity in their eyes. The combination of music and words is the best vehicle for the young hearts to to feel and to think about the world.

Essie has enjoyed working with students of all ages from diverse backgrounds since 2009. Essie holds an M.Mus in Literature and Performance (Violin) from Western University, as well as a Montessori Infant Toddler Teacher Diploma (TMI). She teaches bilingually in English and Chinese.
