“Bringing Music to Life!”
Langley Community Music School offers a unique opportunity for students and parents to be immersed in a nurturing musical environment. The Suzuki Strings day camp will take place in our beautiful, spacious facility where students will be taught by highly trained Suzuki instructors. There will be noon-hour concerts and activities. Group and enrichment classes will be presented in concert Thursday afternoon.

In keeping with the Suzuki spirit, parents or caregivers should attend classes with their children.
Provincial Health Orders will be followed. Masks for ages 5 and over, and proof of vaccination for ages 12 and over are mandatory for all attendees.

  • Twinklers Mini Camp (5yrs and under) $200CAN
  • Extra Enrichment Class $50CAN

A non-refundable deposit of $75CAN is required at time of registration.

Recreation

Located in beautiful Langley City Park, the music school is surrounded by many recreation opportunities: swimming at the outdoor public pool, playing at the newly updated playground and spray park, riding, walking, or scootering on paths throughout the park, playing games on the sports fields.
Visit downtown Langley shops and library, just blocks away; take a short drive and go climbing at Penzer Action Parkour Playground.
Historic Fort Langley is nestled close by along the Fraser River.

Our state-of-the-art dedicated music facility features a recital hall, spacious classrooms, and teaching studios which are all wheel chair accessible.
The workshop begins Sunday afternoon at 3:30 pm with an orientation session, including a play-in and family games. Pack a picnic and stay for early supper as we get to know each other.

Monday to Thursday classes will run between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm, and will include
- an individual lesson in the form of a masterclass
- a technique class
- a daily repertoire class, and
- one enrichment class
*Enrichment classes include ‘Beat Camp’, Fiddling, and Chamber Orchestra.
**Students may register for up to two enrichment classes if the schedule allows.

Mini Camp (for 5 years and under) includes
- a masterclass
a small group class

Practice rooms will be available for registered students throughout the camp.
Participants bring their own lunches each day and stay for noon hour crafts and concerts.
A celebration of group and enrichment classes will be presented on Thursday at 3:30 pm.
