Gifted Music School’s mission is to nurture artistry, character, and skills vital to a healthy community through exceptional comprehensive music education.. We strive to bring innovative and engaging programs to our community, by providing the highest quality faculty with flexible curriculums designed to nurture and develop musical training and experiences for any student from novice to the most advanced.

Since its founding in 2009, Gifted Music School has established itself as Utah’s premier community music school. Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, our nationally recognized school is making a profound difference in the lives and future of children every day. Our programs are varied and diverse, including a renowned Suzuki Program, a critically-acclaimed full-scholarship Conservatory, and a groundbreaking full-scholarship Title I school program called Project GRIT.

We currently serve over 400 students, and approximately 1/2 are enrolled in full-scholarship programs. But students at Gifted Music School are encouraged to go beyond basic private lessons—in addition to our students’ regular group classes, juries, and studio recitals, we offer courses in Chamber Music, Theory, Ear Training and Solfege, Improvisation, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Supplemental Piano, Music History, Early Childhood courses, and more. We strive to set a national standard in our field.
