Alberta Summer Suzuki Institute is hosted by Edmonton’s Society for Talent Education. STE is one of North America’s longest running Suzuki programs now in its 53rd year.
Held on the campus of the University of Alberta, ASSI creates a unique opportunity. Bringing together children, parents, grandparents, teachers and master teachers in a happy, nurturing and inspirational music making environment. In addition to wonderful masterclasses, group classes, orchestra and chamber music, ASSI offers classes in Kodaly, musicianship, improvisation and fiddling. Special events include a faculty recital, a family social evening featuring our enrichment classes and dancing lead by our fiddle faculty as well as a grand final concert downtown at Edmonton’s beautiful City Hall.
