Additional Schedule InformationPedagogy class hours will be 1-4 pm CDT. Observations are as follows: 2 hours of the Starr/Suzuki videos (to be completed before the class begins); 4 hours of ASI student class observation (including 1 recital)—these classes will be available during regular ASI class hours (8-11 am; recitals at 4 pm); 2 hours of observation of Mr. Lieb’s students’ lessons and performances (recorded). All public events at ASI will be streamed, and a variety of classes will also be streamed.
Prerequisite course:

Viola Unit 3, or Violin Unit 3
Audition: Violin Basic, or Violin Intermediate, or Violin Comprehensive, or Viola Intermediate, or Viola Comprehensive.

Trainer Information
Allen Lieb Is CEO of the ISA, Chair of the ISA & SAA Violin Committees & a registered SAA & ESA Teacher-Trainer. His primary instructors in Suzuki pedagogy were John Kendall and Shinichi Suzuki. Allen is Head of the Violin Department & Instructor for Teacher-Training at the School for Strings & violin Instructor at the Diller-Quaile School, both in New York City, & a consultant for VH1SavetheMusic Foundation.
