Massachusetts Suzuki Festival

Event Description

The Massachusetts Suzuki Festival is a two-day annual event for Suzuki students, parents, and teachers across the state.

Students: On Saturday, violin, viola and cello students can elect to participate in masterclass. On Sunday, violin, viola, cello, and guitar students participate in group classes, chamber music classes, and elective classes such as fiddling, eurythmics, music history. Pianists have masterclasses on Sunday in addition to the groups and electives listed above. Additionally, younger children ages 0-3 have the opportunity to participate in a Suzuki Early Childhood Education class on Sunday.

Teachers: There are teacher workshops on Saturday afternoon. Workshops are free for teachers volunteering 3 or more hours.

3:00-4:00 Teacher Workshop by Cello Clinician Alex Croxton

4:00-6:00 Brian Wicklund ~ Teaching Fiddling and Fiddling for Teachers (bring your instruments)
