at International ‘Songs for Sharing’ Suzuki Voice Workshop

‘Songs for Sharing’ Workshop means promoting international peace and cultural understanding through singing together. We sing in ensemble, in solo and in multiple languages, using the Suzuki Voice repertoire. Suzuki Voice teachers, students and families from around the world attend and participate. Principle Workshop Faculty are: Dr. Päivi Kukkamäki (Finland), Founder of Suzuki Voice and Katrina Pezzimenti (Australia), PPSA Teacher Trainer.

Workshop Events and Activities are scheduled for BOTH students and teachers, including special teacher’s sessions. Teachers can enroll alone or with students. Students can enroll with or without their teacher in attendance. Auditions are not required; students of any age or technical ability may enroll. Attending teachers are additionally encouraged to actively participate in ANY open workshop events (private lessons excepted), including all concerts and most of the sessions focused on children. 

Workshop days are filled with:   1) singing workshops, either organized by repertoire level or combining all levels;   2) workshops specifically designed for teachers focused on both growing and sharing their Suzuki Voice teaching skills;   3) possible Master Classes for the more advanced students (depending on the character of the final enrollment),   4) a limited number of optional ‘private lessons’ for those individuals (student or teacher) who request them;   5) Evening CONCERTS and other events, including—Opening Ceremonies, Country Presentations, ‘Suzuki Voice’ Concert, ‘Gala’ (final) Concert, additional concerts depending on the makeup of our final enrollment, and a possible field trip focused on sharing a local cultural experience.
