Northeast Ohio Suzuki Day!: Cello, Viola, Violin
Event Description
Ohio’s first annual Northeast Ohio Suzuki Day is a chance for Suzuki Violin, Viola, and Cello students and teachers to come together for an exciting and inspiring day of music making.
The day features faculty from all over Northeast Ohio including: Becky Ensworth, Lisa Goldman, Rachel Huch, Marlene Moses, Marian Goss, Laura Shuster, and Pam Kelly.
String students (Violins, Violas, and Cellos: Pre-Twinkle-Book 10) will take part in classes ranging from traditional Suzuki Group Classes to Dalcroze. The day will end with a combined play-in for everyone to take part in. Parents are invited to take part in a parent only seminar, and students not yet ready for an instrument are invite to take part in a music and movement class. Cost for students is $75. Time: 12:30-5:30 pm.
The event is free to teachers and trainees. At 10:30 am, we will begin with a teacher only session which will be followed by lunch (provided). You are encouraged to come participate and observe throughout the day.
