ECC meets for 3 Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm Eastern Time on Sep 5, 12, and 19, 2024. Deadline to register is Aug 27. Early bird discount $30 off, register by Aug 20th. Late fee applies after 8/28 and only if space permitting. 100% attendance with camera “on” is required for status with the SAA for course completion. Note: if planning to take Piano Unit 1, it is highly recommended to prepare the audition video prior to or while taking ECC.

Event Description

Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! an introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Trainer Information

Blancamaria Montecinos

Blancamaría Montecinos V. is a SUZUKI Piano, Pre-Piano, and Early Childhood Education teacher. Former president of the Chilean Suzuki Association, and collaborator with 30 years of experience teaching the Suzuki Method. Currently the director of Escuela de Música Suzuki Chile in Santiago, Chile; with a team of 13 teachers and more than 250 students. Motivating and inspiring teachers for over a decade she is currently a certified SAA Teacher Trainer.
During this pandemic year, BM had an intense work with TTs giving online seminars in “Transition into Prepiano” “Reading at the piano”, and Filosofía, Book 1 unit, and Prepiano the first approach.
