Dear all
I’m looking for sheet music for a group of violins, 2-4 voices. My students are fx. fond of pachelbels canon and I wish I had more pieces like this. It can also be arrangements of more popular songs or other classical pieces arranged for violins.
If anyone has such pieces in their score library I would be much grateful to have them sent by e-mail to
[javascript protected email address]

Best regards, Louise Thomsen

Best regards,

Hi Louise,
I have been using the books by Michael McLean for a few years now, and have had a very good experience with them. They are well written and very effective for concerts and there are levels from beginning thru advanced. I recommend them highly.

I also have a comprehensive list of repertoire for multiple violins I can send you after I get back to the US from Berlin where I am staying until August 20th. I can post it then.

I am using this: http://www.sharmusic.com/Shop-Shar/Sheet-Music/Violin/Violin-Method-Books/Martin-Joanne—Folk-Strings-for-Violin-Ensemble—Four-Violins—Alfred-Music-Publishing.axd

and you can also get the violin accompaniments for the Suzuki Violin School. I will be using the accompaniments with my late book 1/Book 2 students during group class so that they can accompany the beginner students.

I hope this helps.
