Description :
South Bay Suzuki teaches violin students ages 3+. We have around 35 students with an active waitlist for the violin studio. The Suzuki philosophy is the basis for our curriculum which includes private lessons and group classes, EC classes, theory, and monthly Outreach Performances for our community.
Fonctions :
•Teach weekly private and group violin lessons to children ages 3+ •Prepare students for recitals and other performances •Perform in faculty concerts and community events •Work with the other teachers to develop a comprehensive curriculum
Qualifications :
•Bachelor of Music degree in Violin/Viola Performance or Music Education •Registered Suzuki training. Book 1 minimum required by Fall 2024, through Book 4 preferred •Minimum 2 years professional teaching experience •Experience with ECE and Pre-Twinklers is a plus
Salaire :
$45-65/hour commensurate with experience. $30/hour for meetings and admin. $300/year for Continuing Education. This position has tremendous potential for growth with the right candidate and we expect the program to grow in the fall with the new school year.
