Música que emociona
I have loved my violin ever since I was five. I loved learning exactly where to place my fingers. When it made the beautiful sound I expected, the satisfaction was exquisite! I got into the violin mainly from my friend. After a visit to her and her family, I became fascinated with the smooth sound of her violin. I asked my mom about violin promptly afterward. Soon after, we were sitting in on lessons trying to find the right teacher. Once my mom and I met Arlene Patterson, it was obvious who the best person for me was. Ever since then, I have been going to lessons and practicing nearly every day. The most astounding thing about playing the violin or any instrument for that matter is that if you truly are connected to the music your instrument puts out, you will be able to touch other lives as well as your own. The most amazing experience is when I get to play my own music, meaning the music that I compose myself. When the notes flow so easily from my fingers I almost feel like I’m flying through my own world I can’t describe. To this day, one of my best friends is my violin, I plan to stick with it as long as I can.
My name is Emily, I’m 11 years old. I have been playing the violin for 6 years alongside gymnastics and Girl Scouts.
