Presented with dual-delivery (Some take course fully online, some take it fully in-person).

Course Length: 15 Hours of Online or In Person training and 8 hours of online or in person observations.

Course Fee:
$450.00 (there is a minimum of 4 participants enrolled to run the course)
$50.00 discount if you took Book 1, 2 or Teaching Strategies with me in 2025 and 2026.
$90.00 discount for all international participants due to the exchange rate.

This course is limited to 10 participants. Your payment will reserve your space in the course.

Objectives of the course
Unit 3 is intended to further familiarize teachers with the technical and musical aspects of Book 3 that will be needed for their student’s to perform in an artistic and technically proficient manner. The course will cover the pedagogical aspects of Book 3, group class, music theory, note reading, remedial teaching, scales, tonalization and vibrato.Course Requirements
This course will not be able to be registered with the SAA unless all of the following requirements are met
• Attendance – mandatory attendance at all sessions for course completion.
• Observation – 8 total hours.
• Memorization of all Book 3 pieces.
• Playing Demonstrations
• Group play through of all of Book 3
• One solo of your choice – uploaded to YouTube with a link sent to [email protected] – this is due before March 14th.
• Teaching Demonstrations
• Present one private lesson teaching point from a Book 3 piece – your colleagues will be the students and the demonstration should last no more than 5 minutes.
• Present one group class activity from a Book 3 piece – your colleagues will be the students and the demonstration should last no more than 5 minutes.
• Written Assignments
• Clean copy of Book 3; fully annotated with fingering edits, bowing edits, information, previews, teaching steps and teaching points. Your book should be scanned as a pdf and turned in as an email attachment to [email protected].
