Tracy Helming Wiggin is an active Suzuki Teacher Trainer. She received a Master’s Degree in music performance from Yale University, and completed registered Suzuki training in all 10 of the violin books, including long term training with Teri Einfeldt at the Hartt School of Music. She has been teaching violin and chamber music since 1990, both in her private studio in Seattle as well as at institutes and workshops. She is a parent of two children; one is a cellist, the other a ballet dancer.

Tracy is dedicated to extending the vision of Suzuki and his philosophy to all students and teachers she meets. She loves to apply the methodology of Suzuki teaching to all levels of repertoire, from the first introductory lesson through the many layers of standard violin repertoire. She loves exploring the teaching concepts and the musical demands of Bach, Paganini, Kreisler, and the violin concertos and show pieces that await students beyond book 10. Her students have gone on to major in music and have studied at schools ranging from the University of Washington to Juilliard. Most importantly, her students continue to have a thirst for learning, a natural desire to support their colleagues, and bring creativity, playfulness, and their life experiences to their music.
