Anna Doak graduated magna cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts with a B.A. in double bass performance. She is currently a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta and performs frequently with the Seattle Symphony, Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Astoria Music Festival and on numerous recording projects. Anna formerly served as principal bassist for the National Academy Orchestra of Canada, and taught at Western Washington University for 3 years. Anna has had an active teaching studio in the Seattle area for 25 years. Her arrangements for double bass trio have been published and performed world wide.
