Evelyn Osborne

Dr. Evelyn Osborne completed long-term training with Teri Einfeldt at a graduate level; short term training with Helen Brunner, Alice Joy Lewis, Karen-Michelle Kimmett; SECE training with Sharon and Dorothy Jones,and Danette Schuh; and SPA with David Madsen.

Dr. Osborne is the owner/director of the Fiddlehead Folklore Institute based in Hong Kong promoting creativity and multicultural education. From 2015-202, Osborne was the Founding Executive Director of the Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute. Evelyn joined the faculty of the Newfoundland based Suzuki Talent Education Program in 2004 and has taught at the Atlantic Canada Suzuki Institute for ten years. Osborne served as the Artistic Director of STEP and Institute Director of ACSI. Evelyn is a violinist and fiddler, has given Newfoundland fiddle and dance workshops on four continents. Three of those were for Suzuki Schools (Australia; Singapore; Ottawa, Ontario).
