Offers a 3-5 year undergraduate program and a 2 year graduate program covering Violin Books 1-10, as well as workshops with noted clinicians. Supervised private and group teaching opportunities available through the NAU Preparatory School of the Performing Arts Suzuki Programs and Summer Camp, the NAU Arizona Suzuki Institute, and a special elementary school grant program offering Suzuki violin for K-2 grades. Most teacher trainees are music majors; however, qualified undergraduates may elect to be music minors and still participate in the Suzuki pedagogy curriculum, which can lead to registration of their work with the SAA.
