Student classes will run Monday 6/17 through Friday 6/21 from 9AM to 4:30PM, with some evening events planned depending on the program. Young Artist and teen dorm students may have an orientation Sunday 6/16 in the evening. This information is subject to change.
Event Description
Welcome to the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute: a family oriented Suzuki music summer program for students, parents and teachers of all ages and levels. We offer a nurturing music experience on the beautiful campus of Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, located about 50 miles East of Los Angeles International Airport or 9 miles West of Ontario International Airport.
Our Foundational Program is for students beginning their journey on their instrument. PREP Program prepares intermediate students for the Young Artists program. Young Artists is for advanced students ages 13 and up who are performing at the highest level.
Parents gain inspiration observing their children receive instruction from expert teachers and develop community spending time with fellow parents. Parent lectures are offered at no extra cost. Teachers take SAA approved teacher training courses from world class Teacher Trainers and observe students studying with guest clinicians.
Come join in the fun, make new friends, mentors and colleagues, and leave inspired, nurtured and rejuvenated!
