Chamber Music Program

This program is designed for violin students in book 6 and up and viola and cello students in book 5 and up (highly motivated students in book 5 violin/book 4 viola and cello may apply). In addition to participating in the senior core program, students in the chamber music program will receive a daily 1 hour chamber music coaching and 1 hour of chamber orchestra. The Chamber Music program begins on Saturday July 5 and runs to Friday July 11. In addition to performance opportunities on the lunch time student recitals and final concert these students will have extra performances throughout ASSI with both chamber ensembles and chamber orchestra.
Students interested in participating in this program should be highly motivated, submit a DVD audition of 2 contrasting pieces, at least one from the Suzuki repertoire (see DVD guidelines here), and a letter of recommendation from their private teacher.
