Event Description
This amazing five-day workshop offers Suzuki piano students a unique experience of playing in unison with other students, all working on the same piece, on grand pianos. There will also be an opportunity for more advanced students to participate in chamber music.The purpose of the workshop is for everyone to have an enjoyable week of study and encouragement. Parents will have an opportunity to gain new insights into effective practice. The workshop offers daily master classes, five-piano rehearsals, chamber music coaching, and singing and dulcimer enrichment classes. The workshop will culminate in performances by students participating in the workshop in the Snow Fine Arts auditorium. There will be a five-piano concert and a combined chamber music, singing, and dulcimer concert.
During the week, there will be a solo recital by selected students. Also, there will be a piano concert performed by Yuka Watanabe. She is a student of Keiko Kawamura from Matsumoto, Japan.
