Organization Detail

The South Carolina Suzuki Institute will be taking place this summer at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC from July 21-25. We are the first official Suzuki institute to take place in Columbia and we want you to be there!

SCSI offers student programs for Suzuki violin, viola, cello, and guitar students of all ages and abilities. All students receive a daily masterclass and group class as well as technique classes, enrichment, and other fun electives including art and movement! All student programs take place from July 21-25.

We are thrilled to also offer the following teacher training programs for the first time this year! Please note the different start dates for teacher training classes.

Suzuki Early Childhood Education Stage 2: June 9-13th. NOTE: this class will be held at the Suzuki Academy of Columbia which is located just a few minutes away from the university.

Violin Unit 1 with Stacy Garner: July 18-25th at the University of South Carolina

Cello Unit 1 with Beth Cantrell: July 18-25th at the University of South Carolina
