The Hartt Suzuki Institute is thrilled to uphold its esteemed legacy by offering inspiring programs for students and teachers during the summer of 2026. These programs will take place on the beautiful campus of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. This enriching experience is designed for violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, piano, and brass students who are currently studying with a Suzuki-trained instructor. Additionally, the Hartt Suzuki Teacher Institute will provide instruction and expert guidance for Suzuki teachers of varying experience levels. Student Institute: Sunday, August 2-Friday, August 7, 2026 The opening ceremony, large ensembles, chamber groups, and play-ins will begin on the afternoon of Sunday, August 2. Specific arrival times will be provided in an email in mid-July. The full-day schedule will begin on Monday, August 3. Teacher Workshop: Friday, July 31-Saturday, August 8, 2026 In-person participants of the teacher workshop are encouraged to attend the opening ceremony and play-ins on Sunday, August 2.  Specific course arrival times will be provided in an email sent in mid-July.
