The Pasadena Conservatory of Music is an independent community music school with a thriving, performance-oriented string department.

Duties:

Individual instruction utilizing the Suzuki method for students ages 4 and above.
Emphasis is on working with young beginners. Assist with and/or teach weekly group lessons.
Participation in departmental activities for students and faculty members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Music or higher, Suzuki certification : ECC Every Child can, and Unit 1 Suzuki teacher training or higher.
Minimum of two years of Suzuki teaching experience. Comfortable educating Suzuki philosophy to
parents.

Salary:

This is a part time and intermittent position, with the potential for a future permanent position. Compensation: $60/hour.
