Description:
The Suzuki Music Schools is a non-profit 501(c)3 community Suzuki School offering violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, guitar, voice, harp, piano, ECE, chamber music and theory. Our community events draw the public from CT and Metro NY. Our mission promotes a diverse, inclusive community through curriculum, financial aid and social impact.
Duties:
Provide weekly private Suzuki lessons year round, teach group classes, attend semesterly faculty meetings, student recitals, workshops and concerts. Opportunities for chamber music and summer events also a possibility. Availability to teach Saturday is preferred.
Qualifications:
Suzuki Method registered training through book 4. Current member of SAA. Masters degree and teaching experience required. Self-motivation, kindness and enthusiasm are favored. We support faculty in professional renewal via training courses and offer awards for community impact.
Salary:
Pay is competitive, aligned with experience. Health benefits and 401k pension plan for qualified applicants. Teaching schedule includes summer lessons.
