Responsibilities:
- Build/Teach Suzuki violin studio as a part of a growing Suzuki program
- Teach students ranging from pre-twinkle to book 5 and beyond.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts
Potential Opportunities:
- Leading Suzuki group classes
- Chamber ensemble coaching
- Performances within PCM Noonday series
Minimum Qualifications:
- Suzuki teacher training, preferably through Violin Book 5
- Hold or be working toward a degree in Music Performance and/or Music Education with a focus in Violin or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with and preference for teaching at the pre-twinkle level in a one on one and group class setting
- Master’s degree or higher in Violin or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with students of diverse backgrounds and ability levels
- Diverse performance experience
Classification:
Part Time, Hourly, Non-exempt employee
Compensation:
$50/hour
