Sedona Charter School is a 28 year old Montessori Charter School located in beautiful Sedona, AZ. We are searching for a director for our strings program for the 2025-2026 school year.
Salary: $68/hour for instructional time and $30 for administrative work.

Duties:
Teach and guide 75 to 100 students in grades Kindergarten through grade 6 to play the violin or cello.
Organize the students into instructional groups for small group instruction twice a week.
Gather students and lead them to the performing arts classroom for instruction.
Design and lead two compulsory concerts during the school year.
Care for and organize our instrument inventory and the performing arts classroom.
Be part of the leadership of a school with approximately 120 students.
Must be able to encourage students to have a love for music.
Classroom management skills are a must!!
This position reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of Suzuki method of teaching. Dynamic person who will take ownership of our school’s string program
