Violin Unit 3

From Teri Einfeldt: Suzuki Violin Book 3 is what is considered a short, but mighty collection of repertory . One of the books with the fewest number of pieces, musicianship and technique are paired at a higher level in order to prepare for the more challenging pieces moving forward. Comprised of mostly dances with the addition of Dvorak’s beloved Humoresque in the friendly key of D major, it is a bit misleading and can result in moving through the book too quickly, providing an unstable foundation for Book 4 and beyond. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge with you at the Ithaca Suzuki Institute.

Please note: after June 1st, there is no longer any campus housing available, so any participants signing up after that date will need to find their own off-campus housing.
