Course Description in English
The Teaching Strategies course is designed to support and guide Suzuki teachers in becoming more effective, reflective, and confident in their teaching. Through observation, analysis, and constructive feedback, participants will strengthen their pedagogical approach while deepening their understanding of the Suzuki philosophy in practice.
Each participant will receive individualized feedback focused on reinforcing positive aspects of their teaching and offering clear, practical suggestions for improvement. The course also promotes collegial exchange, self-reflection, and the joyful spirit of lifelong learning that defines the Suzuki community.
Since January 2025, Teaching Strategies has become a prerequisite for Unit 3. Teachers who have already completed Unit 3 are not required to take it, though it is highly recommended for all Suzuki educators seeking to enhance their teaching.
The course is open to teachers who have completed and registered Unit 2 or higher, or those who have registered at least Unit 1 and wish to receive guided feedback. It is instrument-specific (with occasional exceptions permitted) and limited to 10 participants to ensure personalized attention.
Total Course Time: 10 hours
