Suzuki Early Childhood Education Stage 1

Multi-Step Signup

July 31 - August 4

$645.00
Presented in-person.

Taught in-person by Sharon Jones at the Omaha Conservatory of Music.

This foundational course explores child development from the prenatal stage through age three, emphasizing the Suzuki approach to early education. Trainees will examine the influence of prenatal and postnatal learning environments, the structure and goals of the baby/toddler class curriculum, teaching strategies, team teaching methods, and the effective use of classroom equipment. The course also introduces prenatal music stimulation and its role in fostering early learning. Through daily written observations and opportunities to lead activities in baby/toddler classes, participants gain practical experience in supporting musical and developmental growth during the earliest years of life.
