Suzuki Cello Teaching Strategies

This Teaching Strategies course is to help you to teach better! There will be discussions on lesson pacing, when and how to praise and offer feedback, help with parent education, practicing, and more.

Each participant will bring 2 lesson videos 10-15 minutes in length. There are several options for videos to share:

Option #1: 2 private lesson videos
Option #2: 1 private lesson video & 1 group lesson video
Option #3: Teach live lessons of your students in person with  observers on Zoom
Option #4 Teach live lessons with students from another teacher with observers on Zoom (if you don’t have any cello students yet of your own)

Saturdays
September 28: 2-6 pm Eastern
October 5 :  2-6pm Eastern time
October 12 : 2-4pm Eastern time

Prerequisites: Basic, Intermediate, or Comprehensive Cello Audition. ECC or Filosofia plus Cello Units 1-2.
