Piano Teaching Strategies

Tuition: $20 fee payable below to reserve your spot + additional $190 payable to the Suzuki School of Newton (must sign up by Jan 16th; on Jan 17th, price jumps an additional $50).

Teaching Strategies will be held online for 3 consecutive Mondays from 10 am to 1:30 pm Eastern Time each day.  Participants should be prepared with 2 videos of teaching Book 1 students.  If the participant has completed Unit 2 training, they may submit a Book 2 lesson.  This class is held in a master class format, so that all participants can learn from each–new teachers and experienced teachers alike!

Participants should plan to have desktop, laptop or large tablet in order to be completely engaged in the course and to enable proper viewing of all the videos. If possible, a hard-wired internet connection is also desirable.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to reserve your spot and pay the $20 SAA fee.  Once completed, you’ll be able to verify your enrollment on your profile under Upcoming Courses.

After getting tickets below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA. This email has instructions on how to pay the balance of the course tuition.

If the enrollment box is not visible and you only see the waitlist option, this means you are a course prerequisite on your training profile. Join the waitlist while you finish that class or wait for your audition results.
