North America’s only bilingual Institute! Experience francophone culture in one of Canada’s most vibrant cities. Come early or stay longer to visit Montréal! Main Week (includes Mini-Institute): An opportunity to be immersed in a nurturing and musical environment. Depending on age and level, participants in ISM’s Main Week will participate in classes that offer individual instruction, group lessons, Dalcroze, enrichment, fiddling, piano duets, composition, junior chamber music, orchestra, choir, parent activities, daily student recitals and much more. Senior Chamber Music Program: Gives the more advanced participants an opportunity to focus on chamber music. The Intensive 7 day program includes individual instruction, chamber music coaching, string orchestra or improvisation class for pianists, student recitals, individual and ensemble practice sessions. The ensembles in this program are featured in a special concert. Intended for teens, mature younger advanced students are sometimes accepted. Audition required. See website for details.

Teacher Development Courses are offered in Dual Delivery format by leading Suzuki Teacher Trainers, according to the requirements established by the SAA. All Teacher Development Courses are offered in English.
