FREE Flute Audition Workshop
![]() | March 30
Presented online. |
You are invited to a FREE online workshop covering the Basic, Intermediate, and Comprehensive Suzuki Association audition flute repertoire with UMKC Suzuki Flute Institute Co-Directors Zara Lawler and Mary Bassett Shemon. This workshop will help you get a sense of what the adjudicators are looking for, why these specific pieces are used for auditions, as well as offer you a chance to play your piece in front of a supportive audience for constructive feedback. Please come prepared to play!
This year, the Suzuki Association (SAA) is starting a pilot program and auditions are no longer required for Unit 1 training. However, passing an audition IS required to apply for an SAA scholarship (including Unit 1), and for any training beyond Unit 1.
✅ Find out more information and register for all sessions here: https://flutepedagogy.com/for-teachers/
Please register by Friday, March 27th.
