Every Child Can

Multi-Step Signup

September 28 - October 5

$235.00
Presented online.

This course introduces the Suzuki philosophy and the core beliefs that shape the method, including the conviction that musical ability can be developed in every child through the right environment, not just innate talent. Participants examine the parent-teacher-child triangle and learn how to guide each member toward their role in a young student’s early progress.

Participants learn to build active, repeated listening into every stage of instruction, drawing the parallel to how children acquire native language through constant exposure before formal teaching begins. The course covers how to set age-appropriate expectations, sustain motivation, and structure the long-term, incremental skill-building central to the Suzuki approach.

Participants also learn to coach parents in their role as home teacher between lessons, including how to guide daily practice, reinforce concepts introduced in lessons, and help families create a consistent, encouraging environment for learning.
