Every Child Can

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts will host Every Child Can on Monday and Tuesday, April 17-28, 2026.  Each day the class will meet from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Eastern US time (with breaks).  This online only course is open to everyone (all instrumentalists, vocalists, educators, parents or interested individuals).  No instruments are needed and materials will be provided.

The total cost is $145, which includes a $35 materials fee and deposit.

ECC is the introductory course in the Suzuki Method sponsored by the Suzuki Association of the Americas.  The 8 hour course explores the philosophy and teaching methods of Shinichi Suzuki and modern teachers of the method.  It is particularly useful for teachers or aspiring teachers who might want to pursue additional training in the Suzuki Method.  The course is registered as a credential with the Suzuki Association and serves as the required introductory course for people who later choose to continue with the longer, instrument-specific training sessions.

Once you are logged in, scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information.  

After getting tickets below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA. This email will also have a link to your Every Child Can! participant manual.
