Every Child Can!© An Introduction to Suzuki Education created by the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) is the first six-hour course in the SAA’s Teacher Education Curriculum, and for teachers and parents alike it is an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning.

Your guide through this series of discussions, activities and video presentations is Dr. Alice Ann O’Neill, an SAA-registered Suzuki Cello Teacher Trainer, who has access to a vast reservoir of first-hand experience gained from many years of Suzuki teaching. In addition, the knowledge and variety of perspectives that you and other participants bring to this day will enrich the course immeasurably, so you are encouraged to contribute your questions and comments during the course.

By the end of the course you will:

• Have a thorough understanding of the elements of Suzuki teaching

• Understand the far-reaching goals of the Suzuki method

• Be able to recognize the attributes of a good Suzuki teacher

• Understand how to continue training in order to become a Suzuki teacher.

But above all, and whatever your future holds with regard to the Suzuki method, you will leave this course inspired by Dr. Suzuki’s vision, filled with awe for the amazing abilities of every child and excited by the spirit of the Suzuki community.
