Cello Unit 1

This is a special Cello Unit One offering LIVE ONLY in the studio of SAA Registered Teacher Trainer, Dr. Carey Cheney in Salt Lake City.  It is important to read over the schedule of days and times of classes. If you wish to register the course (meaning receive credit with SAA), 100% attendance, completion of written observations, and reading and writing assignments is required.  All classes are held LIVE, and some observations are online lessons from my studio website.

This Suzuki Cello Unit One course is offered at a discounted price to help out young cellists who wish to start their training journey but need some help.  The cost for this special course is about half of what normal tuition would be for a Unit One, so please take advantage of this opportunity!

You must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster and pay for the course, below.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box, click “+”, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information, and be prepared to answer these questions before joining the roster:

• Do you have a music degree? 
• In your best estimation and using this rubric, are you able to play the Basic Audition repertoire?
• Describe your teaching & performing experience on the instrument.

After getting tickets below, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA. 

If the enrollment box is not visible and you only see the waitlist option, it means you are missing the course prerequisite  of ECC on your training profile. Please join the waitlist while you complete that requirement.
